X has implemented a stringent 90-day monetization suspension for creators posting AI-generated war videos without disclosure. The policy targets synthetic conflict footage, requiring clear labeling to maintain ad revenue eligibility. Product lead Nikita Bier emphasized the need for authentic conflict reporting, noting AI tools now enable dangerously convincing fabrications.

The platform will enforce the rules through Community Notes and metadata analysis. This MOVE reflects X's balancing act—permitting AI content while combating misinformation during armed conflicts. The policy specifically applies to war-related material, not all AI-generated content.
